. . . in case anybody has missed him, he is "visiting" for a few days here in God's country.
He is spending the most of the time in Beaumont, but he is really from a little town just a few minutes from me.
He came into the supper club where I played tonight and stayed a couple of hours. He said he liked the sound, but he DID get sick at his stomach. He graciously blamed it on the drink!

haha, no it wasn't your playing, it was just one of those days when a beer doesn't agree with my stomach. Happens like once a year or so, don't know why. But hey, I made it a couple of sets, right? You have a great setup there Don and your rig sounds super. I can only dream. Gimme about five more years and maybe I could sound like that. I hunt and peck and you're flying all over the board. Finally made it back to good ol' Beaumont.

Hey, I dug out a Merle Haggard cd and played it on way back, 24 Merle songs. I thought of you, what with Bonnie Owens singing in the background. That's a cool story of her singing harmony with you.

Who would've ever thought of putting a mixer in an icechest (Don). I tell ya, you guys are so ingenius with your rigging.
