Hi.
I own a Juno 106.
I think it´s time to change it´s battery.
Where can i find it?
is this an easy procedure?
The reason is that suddenly resets it´s parameters, and when start to play it, the patches start to modify them selves with out move any sliders.

Thanks:

It's not problem. The battery is standard RS-232C coin-type. You can open the synth yourself and replace the battery. Save your patches via cassette port before, if you have something important.

When you replace the battery, you can download the original 106 patch files recorded in .WAV format. Just connect soundcard to Juno's casette port, press Load and play the wave.

I can't remember URL for these patches, sorry. But, I have them on my CD archives. If you can't find them, give me your e-mail and I will send you.

Regards,
Adnan

Hi Adrian.

Í´ve open the Juno and i removed the battery..
it was soldered!(i didn´t expect that)
the model is different:"3v lithium cr 2032"
but yes it´s a coin type.
It was very easy to remove it.
Now i´m gonna find the model you suggest me.

Thank you very much!

Ooooooppssss !!!
I made a terrible mistake !

I was think about CR-2032 battery type, but I wrote "RS-232C" (which is serial port) - ha, ha... It was "lapsus lingue".

I wrote that post when I was very tired, sorry. However, you done it succesfully.

Maybe you have the problem with malfunction one of 6 voices? If you can play normally only on Poly2 mode, it's that. You may have to replace the oscillator circuit.

Hi
Nope the voices seems to be o.k.
i´ve ran the Juno in check mode and the voices are fine.
The problem is that the synth should run into edit mode only when you move the sliders
of LFO,DCO,VCF.etc.not when play the keyboard..anyway i have no problem at all
cause i´m using a CS2x like a controller.

Thanks for your help Adnan
