I have a party coming up where they have requested some music for a chorus line of women who want to do a "Rockettes" type of routine with all the high kicks. Anyone have a good midi of something that might work for this?

I did find that one...but it was a pretty shallow. I was hoping for a bigger production number with horns.
Still looking. What I am runing into is copyright restrictions on broadway stuff.

Isn't there some kind of copyright requirement for just about anything you play on a gig, if you're getting paid? There certainly is if you sell a CD. Never did quite understand that.

Eddie,

If you're still playing the PSR2000/2100 try the Swing Foxtrot at a tempo of 124 and the C variation. Perfect for Theme From New York, New York. If they're a swinging, high kicking group, this is all it will take to get them fired up.

Cheers,

Gary

Gary...
That'll do it. Sheesh... why didn't I think of that? Sometimes I forget to use the KISS formula. Thanks

Glenn...
ASCAP and BMI have performance royalty fees that the venues are charged...but we, as performers are not subject to the fee. But, when it comes to midi's, the Broadway community, in particular, seems to be very guarded about the use of their music.

The subject of copyrights has been discussed here before...and some of the rules are black and white...others leave a lot to interpretation.
