Tom... You're right, BIAB makes MIDI and/or audio sequences. It allows you to create a very good SMF within minutes. Type in chords, select a style (100s to select from), and you have a 3-5 voice/track song. You can also add audio tracks, render to a stereo wav file, and burn a CD, all within the program. The newest version provides a 32 bit program, unlimited tracks, DXi instrument support, notation display, *built-in* audio vocal harmonizer, plus much more. Another new feature which sounds cool... you can load any MIDI file into BIAB and it will play with the chords displayed on-screen. You can then change the style of the MIDI file to any BIAB style. Cool, because the way I see it, you could put in a poor or mediocre SMF and have a major improvement (live MIDI guitar and drums on many styles). You can download a demo from their home page, plus they offer a 30 return. I don't have any financial interest in BIAB of PG Music, but as you can tell, I really like the program along with PowerTracks Pro.
