Can anyone give me an overall rating on the RD700SX? I'm planning on buying one at the end of the week, and want a quick summary of the instrument.

How is the keyboard touch? I've tried some of Rolands digital pianos in the HP line, they have a very close to acoustic piano feel. How does the key feel on the 700SX compare to an acoustic piano?

Thanks

Dave

Here are a number of RD700SX reviews at Harmony Central. The action sounds good from the reviews of it.

There is only one review that was critical of the action but all the rest like the feel.

DON'T BUY ROLAND!!! Have a RD-700. Touch is okay, but manual/support is notorious crap.

I've been using my new RD700SX for about a week. I thank you to all who replied. I'm very happy with the instrument. It's the best I've yet to own. There are many settings to vary the expression, tailored to your almost precise need. They did well in mimicing a grand piano. The keyboard touch is just what I was looking for :-)
