I'm having a problem with my S760, so I'm turning to you my fellow Roland users. Here's what I did. I've been trying to keep the control channel set so I don't have to set it up everytime I boot up. As a last resort I decided to save the system with the channel set, after trying every disk in my house I decided to try the system disk that came with it. After saving the system I couldn't boot up (I believe it was a disk reading error). So I downloaded the 2.24 OS and SDISK to create a new system disk. Again none of my disks would work so I tried the system disk again thinking "if I've all ready screwed it up, what more could this do to it?" Finished writing it to disk, put it in the sampler and it booted up. But now certain functions cause it to restart (sampling, disk formatting, disk load, and probably more but I got tired of trying them). Has anybody else encountered this? What do you think I should do? I'm think I need to buy a pack of new disks tomorrow and try putting the system on one of them, and hope that will work. In the meantime give me any suggestions you can think of.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys and girls can give me.

Got it fixed, nevermind. Just made a new system disk from a Roland site with SDISK and it all worked out.
