Been using the little Roland CM-30 as a monitor, and, for small state dinner parties, as a pa. Just got a 2nd one. Especially this time of year, I go from one job to another, and use two different set-ups. Tomorrow, I'll use one in each of two locations. Then, after the first of the year, I'll try them in stereo. Prior to getting the first one, I used a small 200 watt head, one 12" cabinet and a Hot spot. Now, with the CM-30, I can use two cabinets, the CM-30 as a monitor, and have more control of the monitor output.
Cool little amps!

Don, don't expect too much bottom. The sound of the CM-30's are, IMHO, more a full sound that gives a hint of bottom, but not a lot of bass. Since I tried mine with my EV Sb120a, I'm always tempted to use the sub with them. If you are looking for a sound with a lot of bottom, this won't be it. But if you can live with a good, full sound I think the CM-30's do a good job.
My CM-30's handled 3 hours of SMF at full tilt. Of course, again, that was with the aid of a sub. But the last few songs of the evening were without the sub and overall sound was very close, maybe not as penetrating.
I'm not trying to be the poster boy for the CM-30's. I just have a pair and like them a lot. I think they do a good job in the situations I use them.

Tried them with the PSR-3000, and IMO they didn't hold a candle to the Logitech Z-5500 system. Lots of mid, no bottom end, faint highs. Not for me, even on the small jobs. Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy
