I recently aquired a used R8MKII, and I am really satisfied with this nice machine.

The only thing that bothers me is that when playing sounds via MIDI there are some notes preassigned (for example D#2, G2, H2, D3, F#3 ...)that I can't delete ... even if I assign all 80 pads to no midi note :-(

Initializing the R8 made no difference and I'm interessted if someone else ran into the same Problem (perhaps a particular ROM Version ?)

Thanks,

Terby.

I'm not sure I understand correctly your problem, but if I do, this should work.

The thing is that you have more than 80 sounds in your machine (I think its 256). You need to assing the sound you want to turn off to one of your pads first, and then put the receive midi note off.

It is not always easy to identify the right sound (specially the copied sounds).
