I have problems with instruments when recording with my second-hand E-500 keyboard.

With recording and saving the song there are no problems, but when I open a saved song, the instruments on some tracks are changed to piano1.
This especially pisses off when I have played a long and complicated song by improvisation, so I don't even remember what I played.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if has, how to overcome it?

Ok, here is my only solution....

select either E-500(pc) or (mac) and download it.

extract it on a floopy drive and insert it in the floppy drive.

on your E-500.press "rec+fwd"(before turning it on) andthen turn on the while presing those two buttons.

the E-500 should start loading it.when finshed close it and re open it and then check your songs.


Hope that help.

PS:when loading the OS, it will erase all what's in the user program so make sure you save this before you do what i told you.
