My JX8P seems to be broken. It started when I suddenly couldn´t hear any sound altough everything was connected and switched correctly. Then the synth turned off by itsself. And now it cannot be switched on anymore. What could be the reason ? What part is broken ? And how could I repair it ?

mine has the same problem-the guy I bought it from says that there is a ribbon connection underneath the keyboard that is not connected well. I'm taking mine into the shop today to see what my current favorite repairman has to say, If I find out anything, I'll let you know....

IT WAS AS SIMPLE AS A CRACKED CIRCUIT BOARD. I WATCHED THE GUY REPLACE IT, IT TOOK HIM ABOUT 15 MINUTES. IF YOU LIVE NEAR AUSTIN TX GET IT TO CAPITAL CITY MUSIC. HE HARDLY CHARGES ANYTHING AND HE DOES GREAT WORK
