Dennis,

Fantastic bargain for the T1--wish I would have known about it first.

One of the first things I recommend is setting the global EQs using the mixing console. You will find 2 user areas where EQs can be edited and stored. The 5-band Global EQ will really bring the keyboard to life. Try setting them at 4, 3, 2, 4, 8 and let us know how it sounds.

Good luck,

Gary

I must say, Gary, those EQ settings work very nicely on my S900.

Thanks,

Ian

A further question. Does anyone know if the Behringer FCB 1010 multiswitch footpedal will work properly with the Tyros? The yamaha mfc-10 is still very expensive and hard to find.
Thanks
Dennis

My 2 cents worth -

Of course the Tyros I can still cut it, and so can most TOTL arrangers from the past 15 years. Some may not be cutting edge technology, but it all boils down to musicianship. How good are you? Can you play, entertain. The keyboard is your medium. As long as you are satisfied with the keyboard's ability to translate your performance, then it is a viable keyboard.

Despite all the back and forth bickering here on the SZ, I think we all sincerely know that all/any TOTL arrangers are monsters in their own right.
