I have a friend in Poland. Where is the best place to buy a Yamaha there. He would purchase from another European country if the warranty is applies to Poland.

since poland is part of EU, the european warranty should be available.
a good choice would be www.thomann.de or www.synthplanet.com if he likes internet stores.

anyway, poland is just next to germany... if he's willing to make a two hours trip. he can get to the biiig musical instruments stores in there!
