If you are thinking of buying a Roland GW-7, be aware that the 99 song memories are not what they want you to think. Total RAM for songs is about a puny 1 MB. To me, a song,on average, is made up of 3 to 5 minutes of music. Not according to Roland. They totally dissed me when I complained that I could only store 48 songs before the memory maxed out ! They told me my songs were too long. Their logic was that there are 99 SONG MEMORIES but probably not enough storage for half that number of songs if they are of even moderate length. They told me a song could be a minute long. What universe are they living in ?

And the only way to store your files is through using a computer's USB ports. There is no provision for an expansion card, no extended RAM available....nada.

Dave I don't think you were mislead...the 99 is a maxinum number, normally understood it could be less than 99..Download via USB is also a standard..

We must remember the GW-7 is an entry level keyboard[and a good value]...not to be compared to a G70...If we want all the goodies ,,we have to annie up..
