these are two totally different machines. First the SH201 has 49 keys compared to the JunoG's 61. Next, the SH201 is geared more to be like an old analog synth where you go and tweak lots of knobs and create your own kinds of sounds. You won't find sampled sounds such as piano's, sax, trumpets, etc. You get analog type brass and string sounds like we had back in the late 70's and early 80's.
The JunoG is a modern day synth, with sounds that are sampled such as acoustic pianos, trumpets, flutes, violins, Organs, etc., but also have synth style sounds as well. You also get a 16 track midi sequencer and a 4 stereo track audio recorder. This is more a production studio/live keyboard if you only want to own 1 product. The Sh-201 is more an add on keyboard, unless all you want to do is create sounds.
I own a music store in Southern California and I stock both of these keyboards so my evaluation is based on my hands on experience with both.
