All VA-7 owners (all four of you), what are you doing with your VA presently? What do you find attractive in this board?

Ever since I picked up a Yamaha PSR2100, I hardly touch my VA-7 or my KN7000!
Maybe when the "honeymoon" is over, I'll go back to my other kbds. The way I feel right now, all I really need is my Yammie.

Maybe it's time to sell.

GOD! I couldn't LIVE without my trusty '7.
I regularly gig (and Amaze) people with it - REALLY!
I also use it as my ONLY kybrd in the studio.

I'll read up about the Yammy, but it'd have to be something REALLY pretty spesh to sell the Rolly!!!

I've got an even lesser VA than you guys (VA5) and yet I wouldnt give it up for all the Yamahas and Korgs and Ketrons in the world. Infact I would go as far as saying if Roland keyboards did not exist I wouldnt have started playing the keyboard.

So why do I prefer my VA5 over ANYTHING ELSE?

MY OPINION...

1. Solid Construction
2. I like VA sounds more than any other
keyboard's including Tyros.
3. Roland VA styles are the BEST. The
other keyboards dont even come close.
4. The 116 drum kits including V drums
are better than any other arranger
keyboard including Tyros.
5. I love having the most number of sounds
in the world... over 3500.
6. Those choir and voice sounds eg voice
dahs, voice lahs etc are important to me
and my VA5 beats the crap out of
everything.
7. I will NEVER accept the horrid "pitch
bend wheel" of the Yamaha.
8. My VA5 key feel beats the Yamaha
PSR2000/PSR2100 Tyros.
9. VA5 is more reliable.

I would part with my VA5 no matter how good Yamaha or the others get...I simply love Rolads sounds and drum sounds. Maybe if Roland come up with something new I may save up...but for now... I've got my VA5 for about 4 months and it still feels like new each time I play it.
