Hello there,

I am confused. I think I have sourced some Dimm to put in my Tyros2 but do not understand if the memory I require is ECC or Non-ECC. I can understand the other requirements i.e pin, speed etc. Does this ECC thing matter i.e can I put either in?
I hope some techie can help me.

Cheers

Carol

Hi Carol
Yes it does
Do NOT use EEC dimms, only None EEC dimms. (Also EEC is more expensive)
Hope this helps

Thank-You for both replies. I now have a better understanding of what I need.
Cheers
