Is there anyway to make backups of your system disks onto other floppies/drives. I just got a shiny new Roland S750 and want to make backups now before I do anything else.

Also, is there anyway to expand the memory beyond the stated max. I read that some German company made memory boards that could allow you to expand youe Roland S760 to 64MB and the Roland S770/S750 to 32MB - Seems possible.

Also, what are your experiences with the Roland S series? A mini-review would be nice, I would like to be confident with my purchase. Next on my "to-buy-list" is a Zip drive, CD-ROM drive and the Roland mouse.

The Infamous EPU.

Hi,

Download a copy of SDisk from either the SGroup or Li'l Chips web site.
Copies of the System Disks are also available at SGroup.

Expanding the memory and having it all available simultaneously is pretty much impossible for a few reasons, one of which is, the Roland O.S. in the unit won't see additional memory.
