Hi Paula,
it's done under Style Record Mode.
My Manual is version 1.00 , not sure if page
numbers will correspond. So I'll give you headings as well.
Page 107 Entering Style Record Mode.
Choose the Style you need to edit.
Press Record Button.
Choose Record /Edit Current Style.
Page 115 Edit Menu.
Press Menu Button
Choose Style Edit
Page 121
Style Edit Delete
Choose Delete Tab
Top of Page you'll See DELETE.
Track> Drum > Vari 1 > CV 1
What all that means is you're deleting the DRUM track in Style Variation No 1,
CV1 (Chord Variation 1).
Remember there can be up to 6 cv's in the Styles 4 Variations & 2 cv's in Intro's/Endings & Fills.
Leave the rest of the stuff alone like Event ( leave it set at All, Start Tick etc)
These settings are more for detiled editing rather than removing a track.
Back to deleting the tracks you need to.
Where it says Track > (Drum)
Choose the actual track type you need to delete, be it bass, percussion drum or whatever.
E> choose which variation, fill etc you want the just say drum track removed from.
CV> Choose which chord CV you want to remove the track from, you'd start with CV1 press execute, then check to see if there's also a CV2 press execute untill you've removed the track from all the CV's.
CV1 is usually for maj chords CV2 min chords etc
You wouldn't want to be playing a tune and all of a sudden you go from having no drums playing for major chords, then all of a sudden you've got drums when playing a min chord.
After yo've deleted the tracks, just Write it as a user style.
best wishes
Rikki
