I just bought a VA-7, and I am not sure if the VeriPhrase feature is working properly.

When I play a sample in a low key, it becomes broken with pauses being introduced into the phrase.

Can someone please tell me if this is normal, and whether VeriPhrase will only work properly over a certain octave range?

The VARIPHRASE samplers were a flop for ROLAND . They never did work right and ROLAND has never been able to fix the problems . They were released with OS problems and they could never perform the way ROLAND promised . The problem is that it will stay that way . Roland has dropped the VARIPHRASE systems and they don't intend to fix the problems .

They never intended to fix anything in anything!

VA's Variphase. My local friend has a VA7 and I find no problem with the performance of the Variphase...The new VA7 OS ver2 enables the Variphases to be now triggered also in the left split with your chord arranger which is sensible.

I have found Roland UK to be extremely helpful. Product specialist Dean Lawrence if emailed, about a query, usually replies the same day.

I'm talking about RolandUS and Italy.I've emailed them alot of times and they never reply or do any thing for you.

Roland canada is very good.

Either way , having a VARIPHRASE that works is a rarity not the rule . ROLAND has completely written off the VARIPHRASE , I'm glad that some of you get some help but that's also a rarity from ROLAND not the norm .
