Has anyone sold a keyboard through ebay and shipped it to UK- London before???

I got this guy interested in bidding on my VA76, but he is from London. I have never sold anything internationaly so any advice would be appreciated !

I use FEDEX worldwide ....no problems with overseas shipping ....pack it VERY WELL.
Take it to them and ship it....it will cost you alot more so find out first from FEDEX on their rates ....shipping cost me $370.00 to Northern Scotland for a Sd1+. 10 days.

How does it work with customs? Do I have to pay that or does he pay it over there??

Don't know the situation, but beware of scams

I found it cheaper to use the U.S. Postal service. I've shipped items to England, Australia, Russia and Ireland with no problems.
You have to fill out a customs form but he pays the "duty" over there. A lot of overseas buyers will ask you to declare it as a gift, so they won't have to pay taxes, but you run the risk of it being confiscated if customs doesn't believe it or wants to investigate. If he paid by paypal he would get a refund because the product was never delivered to him.

A quick quote from the USPS website says a 40 lb package for Great Britain and Northern Ireland, $143.93 if you print the postage online. 151.50 if you do it at the Post Office. 6-10 days.

Make sure you get paid in full first unsing paypal. I got an offer for my Tyros of $1550 and with shipping, it came out to $2200.00 for buy it now going to Germany. I received a check via UPS for $4800.00 requesting that I send him the change first. Yeah right. I reported it to the police and they were notifying the Secret Service because all the new scams are coming from Germany and Great Britain so be careful.
