Hi,

I just picked up a very nice JP8k via auction, but I don't know the OS version it is running. How can I find that out?

Also, if it isn't current, should I upgrade? I heard v.1.05 (the latest) may not be worth the trouble.

Turn on power while holding [OSC2 SYNC], [-12dB/-24dB] and [FILTER TYPE] to enter Test Mode, the display will show the current OS version.
