I have your synthesizer Roland G-800 and I have a problem.
I hope that you could help me with your advice.
In any music computer programmes when I play midi-song
on MIDI-OUT port to G-800 MIDI-IN port (A or B) some
instruments don't play, usualy Bass guitar and some
other instruments.
When I play same MIDI SONG at G-800 disk player,
everything is O.K. It plays all instruments.
Please if you could tell me what's the problem and
how can I solve it.

Please help me !!!

I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible...

"I have your synthesizer Roland G-800......"

Well, if you were thinking that Roland rep's hang out here, you were wrong. This is just a site with a bunch of people who use synths, this happens to be the section to talk about Roland stuff.

Now, there are a few possibilities...... maybe those instruments' channels aren't set to transmit on the software sequencer, or maybe they are muted for some reason or another, or maybe the G-800 is running out of polyphony (although it would seem like the same problem would show with the disk drive) I really have no definite answer.

If you want to contact Roland, there is an email address available at their UK site, www.roland.co.uk
