Why ask for ANYTHING from Yamaha..? They dominate sales, so obviously, nothing YOU need is of any concern. Take what they hand out like manna and be grateful..! Yamaha see no need for a better harmonizer. You've all been buying the same shitty one since the 3k or prior (not even improved for the T2), so what does that tell them...? Plus, in fairness, they have no decent harmonizer in ANY of their products, so where are they going to get one from? They are FAR to big and important a company to license one like Korg have... You all have been howling for a decent harmonizer for three generations of arrangers. Why do you think Yamaha, of all people, are willing to listen now..? It's all very well to pooh-pooh calls for Yamaha to respond to the need for a 76, because YOU don't personally need one. Well, how do you like them now, when they don't respond to a need you think they SHOULD? 'Home' players don't need a professional harmonizer, any more than they need a 76 keyboard, so don't anyone hold their breaths!

Criticize all you want...Yamaha will listen to you just about as much as Roland has on it's forum...and they will do what they want, not because of your tireless tirades, but because they think it's best for them...and that's the only reason. A critic is like a eunuch...they can tell you how it's done, but.... Ian

Well, EXCUSE ME.... My mistake for offering ANYTHING to criticize about Yamaha. By the way, are you implying that ALL of us that offer criticism of Yamaha products are eunuchs, or is it just me? (because I remember a few well voiced gripes, yourself, Ian) Of course, by inference, you are saying that all who PRAISE Yamaha are also eunuchs, because, if they take no notice of fora like this one, praise has an equal effectiveness. Do you feel your voices getting higher as you read...? Didn't think so. Me neither.
