I'm considering adding a JV-1010 to my rig for all the obvious reasons, but I'd like to hear some reactions first, especially from owners. Any comment topic is welcome, especially these two:

1) How's the programming software packaged with it?

2) How many Mellotron sounds are in there, if any and which ones? (Other side of the fence from programming from a PC, ain't it?) How are the pianos & drum kits in particular?

Okay, GO!

Great box.

Join "Sounddiver" group at onelist to get lots of info. Sounddiver is OK, but you must figure it out. No real instructions.

The 1010 patch list is identical to 2080.

Most mellotrons are on optional "Keyboards of 60's/70's" plugin card.

JV-1010 sounds great

the manuals are horribles

Pianos of Session board (included) are magnify and the drums are correct.

I have the expansion board SR-JV80-08 Keyboards of the '60&'70, and are incredible, rhodes and hammonds are perfects and usefulls, the mellotron sounds great.
