Not very useful without tempo and key change.

It also doesn't have Mark/Jump.

Other manufacturers do it better.

I am sure not, although it might be a feeble late start, it doesn't interest me that much anyway. I see, however, that Roland does make a player with key and tempo change. It is $500, but they certainly have the technology.

I do all my MP3 editing on my laptop.....onboard Mp3 players dont interest me after the PA800 fiasco experience which was lackluster in the navigation department & which confirms what we already know and is tried & true the power of using a laptop on stage..

I came to the same conclusion. I already have a newer laptop, and eventhough I thought about the Ipod/Zoom scenarios, I can't justify spending more money for less.

What happened? My MP3 recorder works flawlessly !

Yes Dave it works flawlessly...but not a great navigational experience...it just took to many steps to search, open, close, load, songs into the player...in real time.....these p[layers need to be a TOTALY SEPERATE MODE like on the Midjay to be able to play "independently" from each other with Styles, Mp3, Wav, Smf etc, etc ....then you've got something to get excited about.......until then its Laptop for me all the way!

I find the navigation pretty painless, but I do prefer the larger view that the PC gives me. I am almost always looking for the "next tune" during the current tune, so searching is second nature to me. I can't plan more than one song ahead - my mind changes too quickly.

If I need alot of MP3 files, I still prefer the laptop too, but for a one or two hour job, I just don't need that extra piece to deal with the Korg has a great MP3 player and it seamlessly integrates with the styles and sequences in the songbook.

During MP3 playback, you have the time running in the window, the fader to blend into the next song .. I just love it.
