Does anyone know if you can view the S-760 CRT display on your PC monitor? Someone told me that you can plug it into a video/tv card! I don't have one of these so I don't know if it works.

If the TV card on the PC has composite video input, then yes in theroy you could.
The S-760's monitor outouts are RGB, so you couldn't directly contect a PC monitor to it.

The idea was to only have one monitor in the studio. While running my sequencing software, I wanted to view the S-760 CRT display. On the same monitor through my PC. So what video card would work? Thanks for the reply S.E.A.

I have an old Tady CM5 RGB monitor. The thing is, the RGB connector is a DB9 - nine pin, sort of the like the same connector a serial mouse uses. The S760 (which I now have) has RGB out, but using a DIN connector.

I'm curious to know if there is a DB9 to 8pin DIN connector out there somewhere. Since these are BOTH RGB, I figure it should work. As a matter of fact, this Tandy RGB monitor can also be used as a CGA monitor (they, using this connection are pretty much the same thing), which I've heard other S760 users using.

Please help.

TV card? As long as it has comp video in, any should surfice.
Points to note however are:
1) I believe the composite video out of the S-760 is monocrome (Blk&White)
2) You will need to be running the software for the TV card to see anything, which will mean your CPU working that bit harder.

If it was me (and I do this with my S-750), I would run a seperate RGB colour monitor.

All of the ATI All-in-Wonder cards have Video-in (composite, S-video, some even component).
