Hi,

I am new to these boards but I am hoping you can help me. I have a Roland EM-305 and I am using Cakewalk 7. I noticed that my synth is only able to transmit/recieve MIDI channels 1,2,3,4,5 and 10 (I think that's it). I was curious as to whether there is a way to bypass this through either the software or the synth itself.

Thanks in advance,
Nick Mooney

When the new EM series came outa while back, I also needed to address the limited channels, I used ANATEKS POCKET CHANNEL OR POCKET SPLIT, to assign additional channels. With so many affordable units available{E 66 for example], I would recommend moving up, the 305 does not offer enough benefits..Fran
