All keyboards and workstations are different... some things are overlapping tough...There is no true deffinition of a workstation.... Tough there is a deffinition of an arranger(styles)

I dare say that Korg Pa2X and GEM WX2 for example are workstation and arranger in one box, where Roland E80 is clearly an arranger...

Same goes for Synths with 88 weighted keys, are they also stage piano's if they have some awesome piano sound?

Discussions like this have probably no end..

With musicall instruments its just like with people treat and value them like individualls and don't try to hook them all up as parts of certain groups or beleivings..

I think its just manufacturer "BUZZWORDS" to make you believe its something special. In reality once you can edit any of the factory features they are both a "Workstation" of sorts, although many won't admit to that not to get lambasted by their peers.
