I have an SH-1000 in mint condition, including its plush-lined hardcase and the limited documentation it came with. What is it worth? Any serious offers?

That is ROLAND'S first synthesizer and the first to come out of Japan ( 1973 ) . It does not have the well known ROLAND sound but it's still ok for a single oscillator synth . I have one and I like mine , I use only analogue synths . I can't stand MIDI , it's crap . Why do you want to sell it ? According to my book the SH-2000 sells for about $175 so I wouldn't expect too much . Everyone has got to have the more popular ROLAND gear like the SH-101 , TB-303 , MC-202 , TR-808 , and of course the JUPITER series . I'll offer $150 , I wouldn't mind having 2 of them .

Thanks for the response. I guess I'll hold onto it.

That is what I would do , like I said I like mine but it is not a popular ROLAND synth . I really don't understand these idiots that pay these ridiculous prices for all this old stuff . You can buy plenty of brand new ANALOGUE gear for less than what those idiots pay for the old stuff . Take a look at the new FUTURE RETRO 777 that's analogue and with a whole lot more than a TB-303 and it cost less and it has MIDI . And then their is some moron that will buy the TB-303 which was a joke when it came out .
