I was just informed that my Yamaha shipment should arrive by the end of next week, or early follwing.

Those of you that own or owned the T2 and S900, are the styles on the S900 newer than the T2?

What styles are missing from the T2 that are not in the S900?

I will officially be trained on this stuff shortly but was just curious on a Sunday

Thanks

The S-900 has about 20+ new styles over the T2, which are downloadeble for free on the net.
The T2 has 400 styles, the S-900 has 305 styles, so it misess quite a few from the T2, however you can find the T2 styles on the net and they sound great on the T2

Is there a link to a list of the styles on T2 that are not on S900, so an S900 owner can save time versus looking through the T2 list and the S900 list and finding the extras in the T2, etc.?

Would be great if there were a link to a .ZIP file or similar, with all the Tyros2 styles that are not also in the S900. Probably exists, but I have not found it yet ...

So are the styles that are the same sound any different or are the exact from T2 to S900.

Can S900 play on a T2 and vice versa?

Does anyone have the styles?

Thanks

Frank,

go over to www.psrtutorial.com - there you will find anything and everything you ever wanted to know about the T2.

Hi Frank - I have both boards. The styles are fully compatible between the two. The only snag is if you try to use a T2 style on the S900 and it calls for a voice that is not available on the S900, in which case the S900 will substitute a similar voice.

PSRTutorial should have all the dope you need on this and other T2/S900 subjects, as well as the listings for the styles on each.

I played both. Ended up buying the s900. The sounds and styles are equal to the t2. The s900 is a joy to play and i never get tired of it.
