Are there any JD-800 users/owners out there who are experiencing problems with the keys? On numerous occasions I have had to take apart my JD-800 to fix some or other note/key related problem. On one occasion I had to re-affix 4 of the small rubber attachments that keep the keys in position when pressed. Now I'm experiencing problems with the 2nd "D" from the right. The velocity sensor is buggered. When I hit the key with a velocity value of say... 60, it registers at 127. So the sensor is hyper sensitive all of a sudden! Any suggestions on how to fix this one?

I'm also experiencing problems with some sliders. For example: The Freq Cutoff slider doesn't respond only until it is almost moved up halfway.

Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Awaiting your responses in anticipation...

Thanks
Cornell

If you look closely at the rubberpads you will see to small pins. The delay from the first one hits until the next hist gives the velocity. The smaller the delay the bigger velocity. If the rubberpad is arranged so that its the worng pin that hits first, you'll always get velocity 127. My D50 does that a lot
