Hello everyone out there,

Recently, a friend of mine bought the Roland VA-76 (un upgraded version of G-1000). While he can use my G-1000 zip disk on his VA-76, I was not able to use his VA-76 zip disk. Does anyone know why this is happening ? Could it be that the G-1000 software just couldn't read the newer VA-76 software ?

I would love to have some answers, please.

I own a VA76, My VA reads G-1000`s ZIP disk, but G-1000 can`t read mine, thats not a malfunction,(I know almost everything about VA and some about G-1000,but not about that midi page , if you have questions about va email me.)

Hey guys a little off topic but I would like to know how well you like your VA-76 boards.

I have a Genesys but want another arranger and have been sort of hung up on the Yamaha 9000 Pro and or Tyros.

Any comments welcome

Jerry

My causin owes a PSR-9000, its souns/styles are basicaly like older PSRs, only PSR_9000 has more mixer controls tone editting and all other not very usefull stuff. Some people say that 9000 is same as PSR-9000 athers say it is somehow different. But TYROS is the newest Yamaha arranger so Tyros probably should be better than 9000 and of course(as I think)much better than PSR-9000.
