I sure can use some suggestion as to get my G-1000 back to the default sounds other than the up-down buttons. After playing a song off my zip disk, quite often the (piano for instance)will not sound proper. The only way I've found to get it back to its proper sound is to reboot the keyboard, which while performing is not a viable solution. There must be a way to correct this problem. I sure would appreciate any ideas.I would appreciate an e-mail with any ideas. Thanks...Wayne...

Middlemiss,Turn your links off for the parts you do not want to recieve messages from the SMF. It is very easy..From the master window selectF1 mixer, then select F3 song, turn manual drums knob to select part, push manual bass button to turn on or off...You will have to save this as a performance...I select a performance that I wrote to use when I play a sequence. It has the patches I want to play live as well as the control settings [hold, volume etc] Transpose settings[song , keyboard, midi]..After the settings are the way you want, I would save this performance in location A11 for a quick access. Ifyou have to reset by pushing cancel [down , up buttons together] and a single click of the up button has you at A11 again.....Fran
