Does anyone know if it's possible to get rid of the high pitched whine coming from my A80 controller. One is from the transformer [which I have had changed once already] and the other is from the LED

I don't know if it's possible to get rid of. I have an A50 and when I called Roland about the problem several years ago, they said nothing could be done. I can hear when it's on from another room in the house! Good luck.

You have to be a bit lucky when it comes on having the right transformer.
I have my A80 from when it first came out. It's on everyday for over 12 hours and I don't hear a thing.

Both my W30 and my A50 Have the whine damned annoying I agree !!!! Iwonder if it has anything to do with the power suppy of the country that you are in (Here in NZ we have 240v 50mHz AC )same as th UK i think...... are any of you in the US (110 v)???? especially daniel ....where are you since yours makes no noise
