very interesting... but $1439 list? That's probably $999 street. Those small jobs must pay BIG bucks.

Donny, check out JazzKat amps. Been seeing them at NAMM for awhile. Sort of new versions of Polytone, the company Ray Brown started years ago.

Several models with effects for $995 list, including the one I'm getting with a tube pre-amp.

Even Bob Burrus, the designer/owner of Burrus high quality tube amps says these little monsters cook! They were next to Q Lighting at NAMM. I tried one...they're GREAT.

Just picked up a Traynor (Yorkville) K1.
Sounds great!! Very clean and typical Yorkville quality. Do not let the 120watts put you off this amp is plenty loud. Nice bass response for a 10". Can fit on the front seat of any car!!! Stand mount, stero link etc. all the features most folks would need.
