Hello,
It depends on what CC commands the synth you're sending the bank change to requires. Some synths use a combination of CC's, others, only one, some, like the Matrix-1000 some bizarre CC command that I still haven't figured out yet. Say your synth uses CC# 0 for bank changes. You then have to find out what DATA to enter, if it's 1 through 4, say, then you would write in a CC#0 & then enter 1 through 4 in the DATA field. My JV-880 uses DATA 80 or 81 for bank changes, my E-MU Morpheus, DATA 1-4. If this isn't clear, feel free to e-mail me.

You must send a program change on the same midichannel after a bank change.

So the step by step is:
Open a track in "List Edit"
Insert a CC00
Insert a Prg Chng aprox 5-20 ticks after

Remember that most Roland synths doesn't kill the decay/sustain of the old sound when you change the sound.
So if its possible change the sound before the beat where you need the new sound.
Actually if you put the pgr. chng. at the same tick as the sound, you could risk that the sound is played with the "old" sound
