I have a harddiscrecorder 'roland VSR-880'. Do anyone know which cd-writer i can use, to make a backup from the harddisk?
Can I use the PlexWriter PX-W1210SE External cd writer to make backup with?
I know that roland sells a cd-writer, but it is a very expensive cd-writer.

I think you can only use the Roland's CDwriter. BUT for back up, and also for direct to disk recordings, you can use an external and conventionnal ZIP Drive( like the Iomega Zip )via the SCSI connector of your VS880. Be aware it can only use,I think, the 100 Mo ZIP drive and disks, and only SCSI types !These drives are cheap!
Infos about the VS880 on my website: http://www.techno-id.com
