Saw a neat little stereo battery operated amplifier in Nashville last week-end. It's the Roland Mobile Cube. Not in stores yet, but pretty cool! Heard it used with guitar and tried it with a keyboard. Could be used as a powered spot monitor. Runs on 6 AA batteries (15 hours, I'm told) or an optional adapter. About the size and shape of an old portable radio.

Has delay and reverb-two 4" speakers and a variety of inputs. sold as appropriate for use with a keyboard.

Check it out!

R.

About 1/2 the cost, with convenient handle. I just ordered one.

You are joking, aren't you..? The speakers in your arranger have MUCH more power than that!

Diki, my use would be with a travel guitar or very small keyboard, with no internal speakers. It will be for throwing in the car or on the back of a motorcycle with the travel guitar.

No intent to ever use the thing for work, except maby to present ideas to a video client on sound scores in working sessions on the clients property. RCA inputs also allow presentation of working scores via various playback units.

Finally, I just want another toy!

Heard it at NAMM, and it's really pretty impressive if used for it's intended purpose.
