I just found out on YPKO forum...that there are ten brand new YAMAHA idc styles the ten are as follows 1 disco dolly 2 easy country swing 3 easy swing 4 guitar funk 5 old country pop 6 old time swing 7 party waltz italia 8 piano rock 9 r&b rock 10 swedish hit

Thanx Eric. I have never checked out my IDC thingy. Are these all the same ones on this site as through the IDC?

My main thought is, the intros and endings sound nice, BUT, I'd sure like to hear the 4 variations. I've heard many styles in the past with outstanding intros and endings and then the variations suck.

Is there anyplace where they have the variations available to listen to?

Are the prices the same on the website as they are with the IDC? I'm going to purchase some of these.

These are excellent styles that do give the 'real live band' feel.

I don't get it -- there's only 57 IDC files? That's all that's listed on the website ... If there are more, where is the full list?

Is there more I would like to know that also?

A few months ago I purchased several new IDC styles. Some of the filenames of the downloaded styles were different than what the were called on the IDC screen and yamahamusicsoft website. Here is the reply I got from Yamaha:

"While the display names and the names of the files differ I'd like to assure you it isn't a mistake, we simply changed the display names to reflect what we thought was a better description of the style. I apologize for any confusion."

I still disagree..........They should have always called them what they thought was a "better description". Now I am having difficulty figuring out if any of the newer styles are the same. They never did this before. On the other hand, I haven't been disappointed with any of the IDC styles in the past 2 years. -charley
