Hello, I have recently bought 2nd hand (12th more like)

Thanks for any replies.

What do you mean of that? If you mean patch sound, there's a lot of sound to download from internet, try this Synthzone at Roland/Boss section, it can take you to site that contain D-5/D-10/D-110/D-20 patches as sysex that you can dump to your D-10 from PC. Roland itself provide patches you can download at http://www.rolandus.com/SUPPORT/SOFTWARE/PATCH3.HTM.
But if you mean polyphony, well, D-10 got 30 notes polyphony, and many sound in it use 3-4 partial, 1 partial use 1 note polyphony. If you use sound that only use 1 partial, you got 30 notes to play, but if use sound that use 3 partial, you only got 10 notes polyphony. Figure!

Yo Andri
thanks very much for that valuable information.
You were correct in assuming that it was patches that were missing from my D-10.
I have not been to your recommended URL as yet but I will come back once I've been!
Thanks also to 'nigelsp' (?)at admin for retrieving my details. Great site...fine people.

Vinni,

Try these links: http://www.rolandus.com/SUPPORT/SOFTWARE/PATCH2.HTM http://www.rolandus.com/SUPPORT/SOFTWARE/PATCH3.HTM
The URL posted by Andri don´t work cause there is a period after the link.

Good luck

Mgomes.
