I'm not sure, but i think the tone match disables the analog input. I know it voids out the volume pot. A better way would be to use a small sub mixer into the tone match, so you could still have EQ and effects.

Actually, you CAN use the other input at the same time. My friend HankB has tried it, plugging a guitar into it. You could also run another mixer into it. DonM
Strictly speaking from Memory, the Bose Forum members DON'T recommend you connect a mike to the Analog input as apparently the line level isn't enough to drive the mike properly (?) certainly something along those lines...
AFAIK people use that input for Ipods/CD players and that kind of thing.
