Help!!! Based on the XP60/80 series. I'll try and explain my problem as short as simple as possible.

I know that patches can store their individual effects (say for example echo in the EFX).

I thought that the performance would not only use the patches selected but also their unique effects... Apparently it did not transfer the effects.

How do I make the performance select the patches effects?
I could use effects in the performance, but when doing so causes all other parts to echo.

Question: How do I select unique effects such as echo for each part in the performance without having to to make them all echo?

I really appreciate all the help in this one. Cause I'm flattered and can't find out how to address this problem alone.
Thanks very much to those reply.

Well, sorry to dissappoint you, but you can not! There is only 1 dedicated fx processor on most super-jv's except the jv2080 (which has 3). So you can only use 1 EFX for one or more parts + reverb and chorus.
you can however create some effects yourself. the key to this is good patchprogramming.
I always make a complete midi-sequence and before the mastering process I record each individual track in patch mode (with FX).
and then I remix to balance the altered spectrum of the sound.
hope to've been of help

So that means I would have to use programs like cool edit and sound forge to mix the parts together. At least that's as much as I know as a technique.

Thanks Bas

Oh and one more question please.

I made 3 patterns of the same channel 10 (rythms) and rather than use RPS, placed the 3 patterns in the micro at the same time. However, when I playbacked the part 10, only one of the patterns was played out, I was missing the other 2 patterns. How do I fix this problem such that they all sound and the same time?

Thanks in advance

I'm away from my keyboard just now, but if I recall correctly, you can only play one pattern at a time on any given track/channel.
