And in regard to the OP, Donny you will be waiting a longer time than you have already for another TOTL 76 note arranger from Roland, regardless of what Fran says.

Maybe even the same for a 61 note arranger, although as I have said before a 61 is a lot more possible than a 76.

Best to stop dreaming about what MAY be and get on with what IS available.

it might be only my limited italian language knowledge, but there's nothing there saying a new roland TOTL was canceled. it says it looks that the new flagship keyboard development was put on hold, and this new instrument is suppose to be innovative in many ways.

where are the italian folks from SZ?

The release of V2 for the E-80 was an interesting development. I wonder if they're looking at a new business model based on more frequent chargeable upgrades offering genuinely new functionality and features, and fewer all-new boards?

Actually it says that the project of the new Roland flagship (which could have been a very innovative instrument) has been put aside.
BTW, I got the same news from a Roland rep here.

True. It says that Roland "seems" to have shelved the project of the new flagship. Yet where is the 'official' word of that speculation??

Best,
Mike

That's because Roland's next arranger will be a TOTALY NEW project & direction unlike anything they have released in the past.
