Hi, i'm having a slight problem altering some of the characteristics of patches. For example, on PR-B 059 Raverborg -the pitch changes depending on how hard the key is pressed. How can I turn this off and/or adjust it?
Thanks

You can either turn aftertouch off altogether, which is in systems, or you can just turn off the aftertouch for that one patch and resave it in a user location. You can't just change the patch and then just leave it, it needs to be saved in a user location if you want your changes to stay once you leave that patch.
To do this, push F5, then F3. Aftertouch is controlled by system controller 1. Each controller can handle four tasks. You can either turn off system controller 1 completely, or just turn off any of the four parameters it might be controlling. One of those parameters should be pitch.

If this doesn't fix the problem, then the pitch messages aren't assigned to that controller. They would have to be pitch envelopes, which can be adjusted by pressing F2 then F3.

I don't know how it is happening on the patch you mentioned; I can't remember offhand. My guess though is that it is being done with controller one. Just grab the slider and move it; you should get the pitch changes. If you do, making the adjustments in F5 F3 will fix it.
