First, I would CALL to find out if they actually have anything in stock...

And maybe a word with their organ salesman, to see if he has the slightest clue about how to operate one, whether they have any in stock that are updated to the latest OS, OAS OS, etc., whether anything has any VSTi's already installed, what they are, blah blah blah....

And then have a word with your bank manager to see if, in today's climate, you could actually get a second mortgage on your house (that's what you'll need for a Scala or Louvre!)

Shame this didn't get out fast enough to save Fran the drive

After reading about Fran's adventures with US keyboard dealers, I would call to find out if they still EXIST.

Diki's right..., call first to make sure they at least have them on the floor. I've seen so many shotty dealers who advertise they're a dealers for a specific keyboard..., but the catch is "we ain't got them in the store, but we can order you one". Given the cost of these things to both the buyer AND the dealer, I wouldn't be surprised if this dealer didn't have one on the floor. It would make a lot of sense to call first considering how the Wersi name in the USA is not very well known.
