Is it possible to put different fx on different parts in performance mode...how is it done?Or is the fx like outboard and changes all parts.

Hi,

You can't do that with the XV-3080. You can put 1 mfx, one cho and one rev vor each performance, ofcourse you can chose wich part uses a certain effect, and the amount of effect used...

The XV-5080 allows you to use MFX A, B and C. So actually there's 5 effects there, that you can route trough the 32 parts...

You have to navigate to the effects section of your performance and just press an according part number, and you'll be able to navigate trough parameters like "cho send" or "reverb send" for each part sepparately...

I don't really know how it is in the xv3080 but it's fairly easy really..

Just read the manual (the performance section of it).. if youre not sure

I just bought a 3080,too , and I'm so happy to own this powerful synth as my 2nd one : ) !!!
I know there're some websites which provide downloadable new patches for JV series..... Can anybody recommend some good websites for me? Besides, after I download those new patches from the net, how can I dump them to my 3080??? Thanks a lot!!!
