I am not sure what you mean here.. Sysex is for controlling the synth by writing directly into its memory via MIDI. You can in other words change the value for a parameter in the synth, and use this for changing sounds and every other parameter in the synth.
Im an no expert in this, but as far as I know a sysex message is an address where you want to write something, and a value you want to put there. You even have some boolean parameters (0 or 1) to turn on/off things like EFX.
You still have to know what the parameters do, as sysex is just another way of controlling the same things as you would using the normal interface.. And believe me: If you find the JV1010 difficult from your PC patch-editor, it will not improve the situation trying to program it by sysex..
