I'd made a new sound using SoundDiver and
transmited it to my JV1010. I can hear it
using the "patch" mode but cannot hear it using the "perform" mode.
Can someone help?

I don't own a 1010, but do own an XP-80, so I might be able to help. I assume that by "new sound" you mean "new patch" in the Roland lingo. Did you write your new (edited) patch into one of the spaces in user memory (a user patch)? As far as I know, the only way to use an original/edited sound - that is, "patch" - in a "performance" is to write the new patch into user memory, then assign it to a performance.
