I planned my trip to Lancaster to demo the Wersi line...I emailed them 2 days prior...no return email...called and left a message (automated voice}..no return call..

So..I fueled up ..for this mini vacation..(that is what I told my wife)..

241 West Roseville RD, Lancaster....Okay..I'm here...but where are they (this is a shopping center}..after riding all around, and 2 more calls to information, and another to Wersi(again no answer)...I ride around somemore..something made me look beyond a Beer store front sign..and I noticed the old remains (dirt marks) of a sign..Wersi Music center..

So I go into the store and asked the young guy about Wersi..he told me "That his company has been in the building 4 and a half years"
and that Wersi still advertises this address in the phone book...

No wonder they can't sell any Wersi boards..they don't exists...

I have read that Wersi has the worst customer support....I might add just plain customers can not be found...

I no longer have any interest in Wersi..I am convinced it is another over priced product with a company that does not know how to run a business...

Thankfully I was able to come home to my Roland's and MediaStation..

My wife isn't to happy now either..since I cut the mini vacation short...I had to promise another trip....something about Hawaii..

A year ago I was planning to purchase a Wersi keyboard because I was interested in the technology of the keyboard. I called Wersi Music in Lancaster PA and left 5 voicemail messages over a two week period. After two weeks, I finally received a phone call. I told the owner of Wersi Music that I wanted to purchase a new keyboard and we discussed a couple of models that were available. He promised to send via mail the specifications and a quote. I never receved the information. I called and left more messages over the next few weeks. I finally received another call back and he promised again to send me the information and a quote. I never received the information he promised.

Since Wersi demonstrated absolutely zero customer support, it would be a huge mistake to ever buy one of their products. If they will not send information or return phone calls to someone willing to purhcase a keyboard, what is the chance they would respond to any customer service call?

I can't believe anyone would drive that far without having contact with the person you intended to meet first. A drive across town perhaps, a 2 hour drive with no communication is just stupidity on your part.

I haven't spoken with Chris or Ralph from Wersi USA in a while since I haven't needed any service but all the previous times I've spoken with them they were always cordial and quick to respond. I can't say why they didn't respond to you but once again driving that far without confirmation they would even be there was and error on your part.

I've had nothing but great service from Wersi USA so I can't cast stones where they aren't warranted. Sorry to hear others experiences haven't matched mine.

Hi Fran

That’s a turn up for the books, as if you read the posts from US Wersi owners, Wersimusic is the best thing since sliced bread.

I have posted the following on the Wersi OAS forum to try and get some feedback.

“To all our US members

1. Does Wersimusic USA exist, as no one seems to be able to find it, also no calls, emails or any other form of contact is received by potential customers who have tried to contact them?

2. There is also no showroom address mentioned.

3. If it does exist (Which with information from potential owners who tried to find them, suggests it doesn’t) where are they.

4. Wersi already has little penetration in the USA, and currently (With total disregard for potential customers from Wersimusic USA (If it ever existed) this seems to be going from bad to worse.

Bill”

Also contact the New Wersi International Marketing manager Mike Carroll m.carroll@wersi.net who hopefully will be able to help.

Makes you wonder if Wersi wants to sell in the US at all, a very disappointing and depressing episode indeed

Bill

Fran,

You just used that for an excuse to visit the strip joint across the street. I won't tell your wife.

This morning when Fran left I was excited all day at my gig waiting for a nice review of some Wersi KB's......& then this BS has to happen. How can they still leave up a website that is defunct? Unacceptable!

Lee, I had customers (when I had a store) that purchased Wersi 20 plus years ago..i didn't expect them to be gone (especially 4 1/2 years..) without making note in the phone listing or their webpage..There is no excuse for this business practice...

I also tried to reach Ralph Conti via email and phone..without return calls or emails..

I didn't think it would be "stupid" to head out there mid-week..after all, to the best of anyone's knowledge..they were still in business...

Personally, I wouldn't even drive two hours to hear one of these. I won't even get out of bed for something that fails to impress me on just about every demo I have ever heard...

If it's THAT good, someone would have posted something by now. In fact, they would have posted a BUNCH of stuff by now. Surely someone with better than minimal playing skills has one in their hands by now? But this stonewalling by all it's users seems to lead to that conclusion... an arranger that only BAD players like

Not much of a recommendation, and certainly not enough to make me drive four hours there and back to see for myself. At $3.70 a gallon, they had better come to ME if they think I'm wrong!

Diki, a drive to Lancaster is a nice ride..The Wersi stop was a side trip...We (my wife and I) had a great meal, and some sight seeing...Even stopped at another "music store"..They had 2 keyboards, 4 guitars, 2 amps, a mixer, a clarinet, and a trumpet..

I wasn't interested in staying over night..so it probably will cost me..(Hawaii)...

PS: I can afford the gas..
