Here is an explanation..partly..

Donny is using a Harmony M, and the E-60 without a mixer /eq...when he cuts what he believes is too much bass on his Tapco Thump..it cuts the bass from his vocals..
He thinks his styles are varied, I suggested he take a look at the volume level of each of his programmed styles...maybe just lowering the volume on the arranger bass will be an easy fix..
OF course we all know that a real mixer is the answer when we are mixing 3 different sources..keyboard, laptop, and Harmony M...

BTW: this is why I "really" love the G70..besides total mixing including EQ, of mic/harmony, keyboard/ and audio input too..and all in one..I don't want to carry out board equipment....or as little as possible..I will haul the extra weight to be happy..

Any ideas to help Donny with a fix...email him...before he makes the biggest mistake and trades for a S900..
